Board Members Certificates

Per Florida Statute 720.3033(1)(a)1.-4., current Board of Directors members must complete a four-hour board certification course within 90 days of being elected or appointed. 

 

This course includes training on financial literacy and transparency, record keeping, levying of fines, and notice and meeting requirements.

In addition to the Board Certification course, current Board of Directors members must also complete annual continuing education courses.

 

Per Florida Statute 720.3033(1)(a)5.a. A director of an association that has fewer than 2,500 parcels must complete at least 4 hours of continuing education annually.
